Hi! I’m Angela (she/her). Until September 2024, I was Head of Programs & Contributor Experience at Automattic.

I’m a fan of maps, horror movies, whiskey, the color green, to-do lists and productivity apps. I hope I’ll always be lucky enough to live near a coast, but I’m terrified of swimming in the ocean. In my spare time, I read, write, cook, attempt to garden, and pretend to exercise. My goal in life is to be fully engaged with what I choose to do, be it work, relationships, community endeavors, etc.

It’s hard to find me in one spot for too long – I travel frequently, partially for work and partially because I love to do so. Because of my travels, I picked up a camera so that I could better photo-document my adventures. And that’s the story of how I became a hobbyist photographer with a blog.

These days, I share thoughts on leadership and community because it’s important. Everyone benefits from improved leadership skills and stronger community support.
